Get started in just a few steps!
Download the NearMeNow app and select “Local or explorer” during registration.
The app will then guide you through the setup process:
Sign up: Register with your email address or one of the available sign-in options.
Verify your email: Enter the verification code sent to your email address.
Choose a username: Enter your first name or a nickname. This is how you’ll appear in the app.
Set your location: Allow location access or enter your location manually.
Select your interests: Choose the categories that interest you most.
Choose how you get around: Tell us how you usually travel, whether on foot, by bike, or by public transport.
🎉 You’re all set! Your account is ready, and you can start exploring right away.
Complete your profile
Make NearMeNow your personal discovery companion.
Under “Profile”, you’ll find your personal information and settings.
Here you can:
Update your username and profile picture.
Manage your location and contact details.
Add optional information, such as your age range.
Adjust your notifications and app settings.
💡 Our tip: Complete your profile and keep your interests up to date to help NearMeNow recommend events and activities that match your preferences.

There’s more happening around you than you think!
In the “Discover” section, you’ll find events, activities, and things to do that match your interests.
NearMeNow shows you:
📍 Near You: Discover events and activities in your area.
📅 This Weekend: Find inspiration for your next days off.
💜 Based on Your Interests: Explore events and activities that match your selected interests.
🔎 Search & Filters: Search for specific events and use filters to find what you’re looking for.
Found something interesting?
Tap on an event to see more details, including its location, date, time, and participation requirements.
Tap the heart icon to save events you’re interested in and easily find them again later.
ℹ️ Good to know: Booking and payments directly through NearMeNow are not available yet. If provided by the organiser, you’ll find information about existing booking and registration options in the event details.

Under “Profile”, you can manage your personal information and access additional features.

Saved Events: All your favorite events in one place.
NMN Points: Earn points for certain activities and discover your rewards.
Personal Information: Manage your profile details.
Notifications: Customize your notification preferences.
